Piper tutorial

Prerequisites

A Piper virtual image is available providing a pre-configured environment will all the dependencies. This can be imported into e.g. VirtualBox, and all exercises will be run in this. If you do not have VirtualBox installed, you can find it here: https://www.virtualbox.org/

The actual virtual machine image is available here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwX8h-A0AgGIMlhnMHhnZFZLTnM/view?usp=sharing (md5sum: 12610cf6aac8cc74a709a12a4c8511f5). Please download it before the workshop as it is quite large (~4G). To import this into VirtualBox (4.3.20) go to "File" > "Import Appliance" and follow the wizard.

Login to the VM with username: "piper" and password: "workshop".
